With your gracious help, teaching and encouragement, I have reached strength and fitness goals I never thought possible for a woman over 60 years-old. I have increased my strength, posture, endurance and balance, enabling me to continue to stay active in all the things that my husband and I love to do together. We love to garden, canoe, camp, hike, not to mention keeping up with our ever-active grown kids (4 of them with spouses), grandchildren (16 of them) and great-grandchildren (5 of them). I have increased stamina to put in a very full day of homemaking activities and continue to be of service to my family, friends, neighbors and community.
You have taught me to evaluate my progress by monitoring my eating habits, strength, fitness and health by the way my clothes fit and look. I am learning that weight loss is now the added bonus of healthy eating and higher intensity exercises and I have dropped two sizes in clothing! Twice I have cleared my closets of clothes that were too baggy to wear!!! I love it!!! And twice in the last year, my doctor has reduced my blood pressure medications. Love that too!!! Amazing! I look back on the last year of hard work without regret, but with heart-felt gratitude to you! And I look forward to a second year of progress and success with Move It 2 Lose It Fitness! I have been attempting to work out by myself for a lot of years and sometimes I can push myself a lot and sometimes not so much. I am 60 years old and I found that my balance was not as good as before and that I had lost a lot of strength. My clothes had not been fitting well for a few years but I refused to get a bigger size. So I really got tired of lying on the bed to zip my pants up. Since doing the exercise by myself obviously was not working I saw an advertisement for working out with a group and that is how I got started with Move It 2 Lose It and Raffy. I have been working out almost 6 months with him and the group that have almost the same problems and have lost 15lbs. I am a lot stronger and have more balance than I have had in years. It also has been really nice working out with other people. Although I am not very competitive, it really helps having other people and your trainer encouraging you to do better. Thank you Raffy for helping me be better than I have in years. Shirley Morton I heard about Move It 2 Lose It Fitness through a friend that was training with Raffy. She always had a good time but I could see how her body was changing as the weeks went by, so I decided to give it a try. The thing that most appealed to me about the group setting is unlike a gym that it seems is so hard to get to, there is a sense of accountability to be there. My friend told me I should just go once and try it out and see if I liked it. Well, I am sure no one ever complained as much as I did the first session. Though I am sure there were bets made that I wouldn't come back, I did. In the last few months I have noticed how much better I feel through the week. With two school age rambunctious boys I have noticed I have so much more energy and am able to keep up so much better with them. The other day my 8 year old son was playing around and wanted to see if I could catch him. It actually surprised me that I ran around the yard with him and then down the street before he became winded and needed to stop to catch his breath and I was still rearing to go. That is when I really noticed how much better I feel from the workouts! I still have a long way to go to reach my fitness goals but I know the accountability of being involved in a group setting has helped me remain committed. Gym memberships don't mean much if you never go. I am really glad I got involved in this program and I look forward to reaching my fitness and weight goals with each workout.

When I met with Raffy to discuss my fitness goals, I had low self esteem and could never lose the weight, no matter what I did or how hard I tried. I spent thousands of dollars on fad diets and machines that claim to offer me a new body or some kind of miracle.
What Raffy offered me was priceless, by teaching me how to exercise, eat right and feel great about myself! Raffy challenged me with muscle burning workouts and a menu plan that has all my favorite foods on it. How could I fail? He is a great motivator and teacher! I have already lost 20 pounds in what seemed a short time doing something fun and enjoyable. I have also made a lot of good friends by meeting others like me at Move It 2 Lose It Fitness!
